For me, this course has improved my understanding of all ancient sciences. I had a base knowledge of some ancient cultures and history, especially ancient Greece and Rome as I took Latin courses in the past. But my understanding of their sciences has greatly improved. For other ancient cultures, I learned about both their sciences and also some of their culture was shown through the sciences. this is the coolest aspect for me and it is very interesting to learn about. It is also interesting to see how the scientific achievements translate throughout history and across culture. This is a huge part in understanding ancient science because I now really comprehend the influences that different cultures and time periods

The content that this course has is relevant to me because all of these scientific achievements are the basis for science today. So it is important for me to understand where these practices come from so I can have a better understanding of the sciences of the modern world. Another important part that affects my life today is the ancient medical practices that paved a way for modern medicine. All of these aspects are relevant to my life today so it is important to have a deep understanding of these concepts. This course is very helpful in translating deeper knowledge to relevant matter in the modern world today. Sciences, medicine and cultural aspects are important to know in order to have a full understanding of history. History is one of the most important branches of knowledge in the world today and it relates to so many other branches of knowledge. In conclusion, this course is a great way to increase understanding of both ancient and modern issues. I’m glad I have the opportunity to increase my knowledge on this topic and I am very excited for the second half of the semester.
